How do I order a reproduction of an artwork from the National Gallery of Ireland’s collection?
Step 1: Upon contacting us we will issue the required form or you can print out the copy on the website applicable to you and send it to us by fax or post
Step 2: We will immediately inform you if there are any difficulties with the request (i.e. if an image is in copyright and requires further clearance or the work requires new photography)
Step 3: Based on the information sent, we will issue a request for payment
Step 4: On receipt of your credit card details or other form of remittance, the order will be processed
Step 5: The image and license will be forwarded to you.
What forms of payment are accepted?
• A cheque drawn on an Irish bank with the amount in EURO.
• The following credit cards – VISA, Mastercard and AMEX.
• Direct payment into our bank by EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) we can provide details such as banking details, IBAN..etc on request)
How can I tell if an artwork is in copyright?
Paintings, sculpture, drawings and watercolours: Under European legislation copyright subsists in a work for 70 years after the death of the artist.

How long will it take to receive an ordered print?
As soon as payment is received your order is immediately dispatched. Provided there is existing photography of the work, it will take 7-10 days to print the order and a further 2-5 days to post depending on destination.
Can I order digital images?
Yes, we provide digital scans on disk or by email formatted specifically for the purpose required.
What are the delivery charges?
Depending on weight and whether your order is sent by express post, the costs will be between €2.50 and €20 Euro
