1-31 January 2010
Print Gallery
The National Gallery of Ireland’s famous Vaughan collection of watercolours by JMW Turner (1775-1851) was displayed for the month of January. It included Turner’s most striking works in watercolour painted during his later European tours, including the Grand Canal in Venice, Lake Lucerne from Fluelen, and the fortresses at Bellinzona in Switzerland.
