4000 Years of Tradition: Goldsmithing Through the Ages.
A lecture by Rudolf Heltzel, Jewellery Designer.
Rudolf Heltzel came to Kilkenny in 1966 to set up and lead the silver workshop at the Kilkenny Design Workshops. Since 1968, he has designed and made contemporary jewellery and silverware. This talk leads the audience through 4000 years of body ornamentation, exuberant jewellery creations, use of precious stones, and finishes with a display of his work.
Lecture in No.5 South Leinster Street followed by a wine reception.
