Cé go raibh sé comhuaineach le hathbheochan liteartha nó chultúrtha na hÉireann, d’áirigh sé freisin borradh na n-ealaíon maisiúla, péintéireachta agus dealbhóireachta, agus bunú ghailearaí ealaíne nua-aoisí.
