Father’s Day, 2024

‘My painting is called Father’s Day. It’s a painting of my dad. It’s a sunny day and Dad is in the garden. He has a parrot on his head. Dad likes to have fun and he is sticking out his tongue in a cheeky way. Dad has red cheeks from the sun and is wearing a necklace of flowers I made him. Dad says he thinks I channelled Picasso when drawing him, but I don’t know what that means.’
