Ayesha Siddique (age 14)
Ayesha’s portrait, 2021
Acrylic and pencil on canvas
Ayesha says: ‘This is a portrait of me. I tried to capture an unfinished look in the background. I also tried to capture the many tones of my skin. My inspiration for this portrait was mainly me improving my art skills. Since the first lockdown I have been trying to improve my painting and overall art skills by practicing. Now, I finally feel confident enough in my art to show it.’
