National Gallery of Ireland announces Ryanair partnership
The National Gallery of Ireland is pleased to announce a new three-year Premier Corporate Partnership with Ryanair, Europe’s No.1 airline. The partnership will run until 2020 and enables Ryanair to support the arts under its 'Always Getting Better' programme.
Director of Development at the National Gallery of Ireland Gabrielle Murphy said:
'We are delighted to have Ryanair as one of our new Premier Corporate Partners. As a Corporate Partner, Ryanair will enjoy a range of benefits for its staff, the opportunity to attend exciting behind-the-scenes visits and private tours, as well as the chance to hold its own events in the Gallery. The support from Ryanair allows the Gallery to host world class exhibitions as well as to invest more in its permanent collection and public engagement programme.'
Upon reopening after six years of refurbishment, the Gallery launched an exciting new Corporate Partnership Programme to build sustainable and mutually beneficial relationships between the Gallery and a range of corporate supporters. This enables the Gallery to bring in new revenue streams and to invest more in its permanent collection, public engagement and education programmes.
Ryanair’s Head of Communications Robin Kiely said:
'We are pleased to have entered into this partnership with the National Gallery of Ireland which enables Ryanair to support one of Ireland’s leading institutions of cultural importance. The Gallery’s renewed focus on the visitor experience, reopening of the historic wings, and resumption of a full programme of exhibitions, events and educational activities will see it grow from strength to strength. We are delighted to make our contribution to its continued development and we encourage our 13 million annual Dublin customers to pay a visit.'
Founded in 1854, the National Gallery attracts over a million visitors per year. Corporate Partnerships with the Gallery offer the opportunity to work with Ireland’s premier cultural institution and its range of exhibitions and programmes.
The partnership with Ryanair follows similar collaborations with Zurich Insurance Group, SMBC Aviation, Sarasin & Partners, ESB and more.
