Wearing Your Heart on Your Sleeve

2019

Mannequin, papier-mâché

Using a mannequin as a canvas, this work combines drawings with words and phrases, each applied onto the body. The artist uses her drawings alongside words and phrases to represent what members of the LGBTQIA+ community go through on a daily basis. The project aims to get the attention of people outside the community, and make them aware of the problems that young LGBTQIA+ people face.
