Join us for a captivating conversation as Anne Hodge, curator of the Vaughan Bequest Turner Watercolours from the National Galleries of Scotland, sits down with renowned contemporary artist Niall Naessens, who in 2018 produced work inspired by Turner for a Print Gallery exhibition Good Morning Mister Turner. Together, they will explore the timeless beauty of Turner's works and their resonance in contemporary art.
- The talk will take place in the Education studio and will include tea/coffee biscuits and plenty of chat!
- The Education Studio is on level 1 of the Gallery and is fully accessible by lift from the Clare Street Entrance. It is at the same level as the Merrion Square Entrance. Toilets, accessible toilets, baby changing, and a Changing Places facility are located near the Studio and the Education Team are on-hand to support.
- This event is part of our Tuesday Talk and Tea series, an informal discussion about an aspect of the Gallery’s collection or an exhibition. It involves a short illustrated talk followed by a discussion with the audience over a cup of tea (or coffee, of course!).
An exhibition co-organised by National Galleries of Scotland and The National Gallery of Ireland. Turner’s Watercolours: Scotland’s Vaughan Bequest is proudly supported by Grant Thornton, Turner Exhibitions Partner.
