Sam Won't Eat His Cornflakes, 2023

‘I took a photograph of my brother Sam, then I drew it with a pencil and then I used my acrylic paints to paint it. Sam was 4 when I did my painting. Every morning he would not eat his breakfast and drove mum and dad crazy. He would put on a sad face and say, “NO! Would you just leave me alone I’m not going to eat my breakfast!”’
