Join the National Gallery of Ireland Youth Panel for a workshop inspired by the magic of stained glass! All materials provided and everyone is welcome.

The workshop is a celebration of Éiru’s Welcome: A Panel for All, the first stained glass artwork commissioned by the National Gallery of Ireland. Belfast artist Kerrie Hanna and the Gallery’s Youth Panel co-created this artwork in response to the An Túr Gloine exhibition, drawing on Irish mythology and celebrating the shared island of Ireland as a collective of diverse stories, lives and experiences. Éiru’s Welcome: A Panel for All will be on display in the Education Studio – Millennium Wing from Friday, 27 to Sunday, 30 March.

The Gallery Youth Panel is a group of young people (ages 16 – 25) who work together to find, make, and share impactful experiences for young people, their friends, families, and communities at the National Gallery of Ireland.

  • Free, no booking required. Stay for as long (or as little) as you like.
  • Families with children of all ages welcome.
  • All materials provided.
  • Languages spoken: Irish and English.

Éiru’s Welcome: A Panel for All was supported by the Esmé Mitchell Trust.
