Join the National Gallery of Ireland Youth Panel for a creative workshop responding to the themes and craft of Éiru’s Welcome: A Panel for All, the first stained glass artwork commissioned by the National Gallery of Ireland.

A Youth Lab is a free creative drop-in space devised and delivered by young people, for young people ages 16 to 25. All materials will be provided, and activities are open to everyone.

Kerrie Hanna and the Gallery’s Youth Panel co-created Éiru’s Welcome: A Panel for All in response to the An Túr Gloine exhibition, drawing on Irish mythology and celebrating the shared island of Ireland as a collective of diverse stories, lives and experiences.

The Gallery Youth Panel is a group of young people (ages 16 – 25) who work together to find, make, and share impactful experiences for young people, their friends, families, and communities at the National Gallery of Ireland.

  • We are committed to running accessible, inclusive events and activities and making our programme as welcoming as possible.
  • This activity takes place in the Education Studio at the National Gallery of Ireland located in the Millennium Wing.
  • The Education Studio is wheelchair accessible and members of the Education Team and Youth Panel will be on-hand to assist and support exhibition visitors and programme participants.

Éiru’s Welcome: A Panel for All was supported by the Esmé Mitchell Trust.
