Me in the Mirror, 2018
Oil on linen, 30.5 x 20.5 cm
"I placed a sketching easel by the window and put a piece of mirror on it. Staring into the mirror, I saw a lightly grey-haired woman: not quite happy looking, almost cynical, with a slight frown. I brought a small canvas and put it on my lap. Staring into the mirror, I found a strange woman staring back at me. I started to paint her and she painted me."
