Cosmic Kitchen, 2017
Wax, acrylic and plaster, 21 x 13 x 12.5cm and 17.5 x 12 x 12 cm
"This work is one of twelve exploring creation, the cycle of life and death, and beyond. A cosmic egg and a strange fish. A night in my friends' kitchen. The objects on the table when seen from above, on the underside of the egg, transmute. The reflection of the light on the table, a sun. The bottles of wine, standing stones mapping the orbits of stars. Eclipses and coronas appear in coffee cups. The painting of the objects, a celestial map."
