The Youth Panel are transforming the Education Studio – Millennium Wing into a celebration of the craft and wonder of stained glass. Drop-by between 12pm and 4pm and chat with the Youth Panel about the creative process behind this artwork.

Belfast artist Kerrie Hanna and the Gallery’s Youth Panel co-created Éiru’s Welcome: A Panel for All in response to the An Túr Gloine exhibition, drawing on Irish mythology and celebrating the shared island of Ireland as a collective of diverse stories, lives and experiences.

The Gallery Youth Panel is a group of young people (ages 16 – 25) who work together to find, make, and share impactful experiences for young people and their communities at the National Gallery of Ireland.

  • We are committed to running accessible, inclusive events and activities and making our programme as welcoming as possible.
  • This activity takes place in the Education Studio at the National Gallery of Ireland located in the Millennium Wing.
  • The Education Studio is wheelchair accessible and members of the Education Team and Youth Panel will be on-hand to assist and support exhibition visitors and programme participants.

Éiru’s Welcome: A Panel for All was supported by the Esmé Mitchell Trust.
