Library & Archives Display: World Book Day

Celebrate World Book Day with a pop-in display of some of the fascinating and unique books held in our Library & Archives.

This display will showcase the development of art historical books, from the 16th century writing of Giorgio Vasari right up to the present day. Some of the treasures on display will include Yeats bookplates, rare Italian travel volumes, and beautiful contemporary artist books, highlighting a wide variety of illustration and printing practices. 

• Drop in anytime between 2pm and 4.30pm to The Reading Room, Rooms 35 & 36, on Level 3 of the Milltown Wing of the Gallery.
• The library and archive team will be on hand to show you the collection and answer your questions.
