Admission

Join Janet McLean, Curator of Modern Art here at the National Gallery of Ireland as she discusses Women Impressionists.

This exhibition showcases the works of four important female impressionist artists: Berthe Morisot (1841-1895), Eva Gonzalès (1849-1883), Marie Bracquemond (1860-1914) and Mary Cassatt (1844-1926).

  • The talk will take place in the Education studio and will include tea/coffee biscuits and plenty of chat!
  • The Education Studio is on level 1 of the Gallery and is fully accessible by lift from the Clare Street Entrance. It is at the same level as the Merrion Square Entrance. Toilets, accessible toilets, baby changing, and a Changing Places facility are located near the Studio and the Education Team are on-hand to support.
  • This event is part of our Tuesday Talk and Tea series, an informal discussion about an aspect of the Gallery’s collection or an exhibition. It involves a short illustrated talk followed by a discussion with the audience over a cup of tea (or coffee, of course!).

This exhibition is organised by Ordrupgaard in collaboration with the National Gallery of Ireland. The Gallery would like to thank the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media for their ongoing support
