'A portrait of my father. He began a new life back in Ireland after living in Canada for 34 years. A recent cancer diagnosis and having his hip replaced were a reminder that life is fragile and time is precious. Seeing my father without his shirt while growing up was common and I had always seen him as a symbol of strength. Now, bare and fragile, I see his topless body as
a sign of beautiful vulnerability. He now sees me as I used to see him.'
