‘This family portrait is of my eldest daughter Sarah, her husband Eoin and their boys Aidan and baby Patrick. The setting is Dysert O’Dea, situated between Ennis and Corofin in County Clare, the ancestral home of the O’Deas. Emerging from the lockdown I made a series of outdoor portraits of artists and friends. This family portrait is part of that series. It was painted
with love and given as a gift in celebration.’
