‘Karma O’Hara began their career as Ireland’s youngest drag queen. Adorned in striking and defiant attire, they embody courage. Framed by brick walls and black bars, Karma portrays both confinement and liberation. Beneath the superficial spectacle lies a deeper narrative, a reflection on the challenges faced by Ireland’s LGBTQ+ community. This portrait encapsulates the resilience and determination of a new generation of people who dare to express their authentic identity. As a result, they advocate for a more inclusive and compassionate future.’
