Ellie says: ‘This portrait is of my grand-aunt Dolores. Everybody calls her Doris or Dolly. She is glamorous, with lovely, curly hair. I did this portrait during lockdown when we could not visit her. I enjoy drawing quickly, using chalks and charcoals. I love sketching faces as they capture personality.’
