From 16 July to 17 August, the Education Studio is open for creative exploration from 10.30am-4.30pm, inspired by our exhibition, Women Impressionists.
Co-ordinated by artist Sarah Ward and supported by Gallery facilitators Sarah Edmondson, Aoife Convery and Jessica Sharkey, as well as assistant Sophie McCormack, these sessions will explore the theme of Untold Stories. The Open Studio will address underrepresented and lesser known artists in the collection, while also drawing connections with the Women Impressionists exhibition.
Considering Women Impressionists from their unique perspectives and practices, the artists will create a dynamic environment encouraging visitors to engage, experiment and make. The artists will be utilising recycled and environmentally sourced materials where possible. All materials are provided, and all ages, abilities and nationalities are supported.
