The Education Studio is open for creative exploration from 10.30am-4.30pm, inspired by our exhibition, Mainie Jellett and Evie Hone. The Art of Friendship.
From 1 July to 9 August, our Open Art Studio will be a drop-in space where visitors of all ages, abilities and nationalities can explore the unique artistic perspectives and practices on display in our summer exhibition.
Researched and developed by artist Eimear Murphy, the studio programme will offer hands on activities inspired by the artistic techniques and creative ideas of these foundational Irish Modernist artists. Gallery facilitators will provide support throughout the programme making the studio a dynamic environment, encouraging visitors to engage, experiment and make, while also providing space to reflect and connect with the themes of the exhibition.
All materials are provided. The Gallery aims to use recycled and environmentally sourced materials where possible.
